PP504F1A-02W40: 4-Channel PWM Core Structure
A new member of the PWM-Core family, PP504F1A-02W40, is under development.
The PP504F1A-02W40 is designed as a 4-channel PWM core module with programmable signal outputs. Each PWM channel can be configured with its own frequency, phase and duty cycle parameters, making the module suitable for applications where multiple timing-controlled PWM signals are required from a compact hardware platform.
The module is designed to operate with a 5–18 V supply range, and the output signal amplitude follows the input supply voltage level. This allows the PWM outputs to be used in different logic and driver interface conditions.
Programmable PWM Signal Control
The PP504F1A-02W40 is intended to provide flexible control over PWM signal generation. Its main signal parameters include frequency, phase angle and duty cycle.
The module supports a frequency range from 4 Hz to 500 kHz, a phase adjustment range from 0° to 360°, and a duty cycle range from 0% to 100%. These features make it useful in development environments where timing behavior and signal relationships between channels need to be adjusted precisely.
Communication and Configuration
Configuration commands are sent through the UART interface. This provides a simple way for a microcontroller or control system to update signal parameters.
The device is also designed to keep signal configurations in internal memory. As a result, the module does not need to be reconfigured each time it is powered or reused, which can simplify repeated use in test setups and embedded applications.
Typical Application Areas
The PP504F1A-02W40 can be used in applications where programmable PWM signal generation is required.
Typical application areas include:
MOSFET and IGBT switching applications
H-bridge and half-bridge driver circuits
Switching amplifier systems
Motor control applications
Timer-based control systems
R, L and/or C load control circuits
Prototype and development setups
Conclusion
PP504F1A-02W40 is being developed as a compact and configurable 4-channel PWM core for applications that require programmable frequency, phase and duty cycle control. With multiple PWM outputs, UART-based configuration and internal memory support, it is intended to provide a practical signal generation platform for embedded control and driver-oriented applications.
