CTS-RGB sound visualizer module for music-responsive RGB LED control and audio signal visualization

CTS-RGB Sound Visualizer Module

CTS-RGB has been introduced as a sound visualizer module for RGB lighting applications.

The module detects ambient sound, converts it into electrical signals and analyzes these signals to generate RGB color control outputs. This allows RGB lighting behavior to respond dynamically to speech, music or environmental sound.

Sound-Based RGB Control

CTS-RGB is designed to create color transitions based on sound characteristics.

The module evaluates properties such as sound intensity, repetition pattern, frequency behavior and level changes. These parameters affect the color response and help generate more natural visual transitions instead of fixed or repetitive color changes.

Adjustable Color Response

The module includes three trimpots for adjusting the output behavior.

GAIN defines the maximum detection range of the module. SPD adjusts the color response speed. BRT controls the brightness level of the generated RGB output signals.

With these adjustments, the visual response can be adapted according to the sound source, environment and desired lighting effect.

Audio Signal Outputs

CTS-RGB also provides dedicated analog outputs for audio-related applications.

AO1 provides the raw audio signal output, while AO2 provides the processed audio signal output. These outputs can be used for monitoring, analysis or additional circuit integration when audio signal access is required.

Supply and Output Structure

The module supports multiple supply options, including 9–12 V input, 5 V input and micro USB 5 V input.

The generated RGB signals are amplified and transferred to the output pins. These outputs can be used as control signals for RGB driver boards, such as the DVR-RGB driver board, in lighting and visual effect applications.

Typical Application Areas

CTS-RGB can be used in applications where sound-responsive RGB lighting or audio-based visual effects are required.

Typical application areas include:

· 12 V RGB LED strip applications

· Music-responsive lighting systems

· Audio monitoring and analysis applications

· Visual effects synchronized with ambient sound

· Decorative RGB lighting

· Prototype lighting systems

· Hobby and development setups

Conclusion

CTS-RGB provides a practical sound visualizer module structure for RGB lighting and audio-reactive visual effect applications. With ambient sound detection, adjustable color response, analog audio outputs and flexible supply options, it offers a useful platform for sound-synchronized RGB control in prototypes, decorative lighting and development projects.
