PDI-A20-24V4AISO Isolated PWM Driver
PDI-A20-24V4AISO has been announced as an upcoming isolated PWM driver module.
The module is designed for applications that require configurable PWM generation, isolated output stages and high-current gate drive capability. With its programmable structure, it targets power electronics, switching circuits and driver applications where controlled timing behavior is important.
PWM Frequency and Duty Cycle Control
PDI-A20-24V4AISO is designed to support PWM frequencies up to 200 kHz.
The frequency can be adjusted with 0.1 Hz resolution. The duty cycle can be configured from 0% to 100% with 0.1% resolution. This makes the module suitable for applications that require fine adjustment of PWM timing parameters.
Output Operating Modes
The module supports different output behavior options.
The two PWM outputs can operate with the same duty cycle and 180° phase shift, inverted duty behavior or independent duty settings. This allows the module to be adapted for different switching topologies and control requirements.
Frequency and Duty Cycle Transitions
PDI-A20-24V4AISO includes transition options for frequency and duty cycle changes.
The transition behavior can be selected as off, ramp or sinusoidal transition. These options are useful in applications where sudden changes in switching parameters are not desired, such as controlled startup, soft transition or experimental drive tests.
Dead-Time and Output Switching
The module supports configurable dead-time operation.
Dead-time can be disabled for overlap operation or enabled with a selectable range from 10 ns to 1 µs. The output switching behavior can also be controlled through internal or external PWM-based switching options, providing additional flexibility for driver applications.
Isolated and Referenced Outputs
PDI-A20-24V4AISO provides two isolated and referenceable outputs.
PWM-A can be used as a high-side / low-side driver output, while PWM-B is intended for low-side driver use. The output high voltage can be selected in the 10 V – 24 V range, and the driver stage supports 4 A source and 6 A sink peak output current.
Typical Application Areas
PDI-A20-24V4AISO can be used in applications that require isolated PWM driving, configurable timing and high-current output capability.
Typical application areas include:
· MOSFET and IGBT gate drive applications
· Half-bridge and low-side driver circuits
· Power electronics test setups
· Switching converter prototypes
· Motor control development
· Inverter and driver experiments
· R, L and/or C load control applications

Conclusion
PDI-A20-24V4AISO is an upcoming isolated PWM driver module designed for configurable power electronics and switching applications. With 200 kHz PWM support, fine frequency and duty cycle resolution, transition modes, adjustable dead-time and isolated high-current outputs, it provides a flexible platform for driver development and experimental control applications.
