PS504F0A-02W30 PWM-Core module with three programmable PWM outputs and UART configuration

PS504F0A-02W30 PWM-Core Module

PS504F0A-02W30 has been introduced as an upcoming member of the PWM-Core product family.

The module is designed to operate from a 5 V supply and provides three programmable PWM outputs. Each output operates at 5 V signal level and can be configured independently according to the required PWM parameters.

Programmable PWM Outputs

PS504F0A-02W30 provides three PWM signal outputs: P1, P2 and P3.

The frequency and duty cycle values of each channel can be defined separately. This structure allows the module to be used in applications where multiple PWM signals are required in the same system.

Frequency and Duty Cycle Control

The module supports a frequency range from 4 Hz to 500 kHz.

The duty cycle can be adjusted from 0% to 100%. In addition, the module supports precise frequency and duty cycle calibration, making it suitable for applications that require stable and repeatable PWM signal generation.

UART-Based Configuration

PS504F0A-02W30 is configured through a UART interface.

Control operations are performed using commands sent to the Rx pin of the module. The communication baud rate can be selected from 9600, 19200, 57600 and 115200 options.

The module can also store signal configuration values in its internal memory. This allows predefined startup values to be used after each restart.

Asynchronous Channel Operation

The PWM channels operate asynchronously.

This means that no fixed phase relationship is required between the PWM outputs. The asynchronous structure allows the parameters of one PWM channel to be updated without interrupting or restarting the other channels.

When a parameter is changed, the new value is applied to the related PWM channel after the current PWM period is completed.

Typical Application Areas

PS504F0A-02W30 can be used in applications that require programmable PWM signal generation at 5 V logic level.

Typical application areas include:

· MOSFET and IGBT triggering applications

· Lighting control applications

· Motor control applications

· Audio-related applications

· 16-bit PWM applications

· R, L and/or C load control circuits

· Hobby and prototyping projects

Conclusion

PS504F0A-02W30 is an upcoming PWM-Core module designed for applications that require three independently configurable PWM outputs. With 5 V signal levels, UART-based control, internal memory support and asynchronous channel operation, it provides a practical signal generation platform for control, prototyping and development applications.
